David Goran is the Lead Pastor at Redeemer Church, a graduate of the University of Illinois, Asbury Theological Seminary, and was lucky enough to marry a Texan. With his wife Shannon, they have four young kids: Jesse, Jeremiah, Jonathan, and Jordan. For five years, David and Shannon served as missionaries in Ukraine. In addition to his passion for Jesus, David has a pretty significant love for all things outdoors.
Thea Curry-Fuson is the Family Pastor. Thea is currently in seminary at Southern Methodist University, answering a call into Ordained Ministry. She is married to Wayne and had the joy of adding two adult step-children, Dylan and Autumn, to her family. Thea has spent most of her professional experience in educational non-profits after completing an AmeriCorp year with Harrow County Department of Education and one year abroad serving children and families in the Czech Republic. She believes being connected to a Christ-centered community is important and best done through authentic conversation, good food, and coffee.
Shannon Goran is the Groups Discipleship Director at Redeemer Church. Shannon was first exposed to small group ministry at Lakewood United Methodist Church (near Tomball), where she grew up, and then led group ministry at the Wesley Foundation while attending the University of Texas, as well as overseas as a United Methodist missionary in Ukraine. Shannon also is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, which is where she met her husband, David (yes, the lead pastor). When not running after her four kids, Shannon enjoys planning and being prepared for whatever life brings next.
David DeHoyos is the Producer for Redeemer's AV needs, handling the video, audio editing, and uploading to Redeemer's website and podcast site. By day he is an archivist and photographer at NASA/Johnson Space Center, with 27 years of experience. He is married to Lisa, who volunteers for Redeemer kids sermon session. They have 3 adult daughters, 2 sons, and one granddaughter. David brings his passion of all things historical and blends them with the growing needs of Redeemer Church. He feels one of the most important elements of Christian living is praying daily with his wife as they deal with the day-to-day struggles of life.
Nikki Gage is the Director of Children's Ministry at Redeemer Church. Nikki is married to Jacob and they have two children. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Nikki spent her professional career in Sales in the Houston area before making the transition to a stay-at-home mom in 2013. Nikki believes family is the first church and is passionate about fostering an engaging community for children and families. Nikki loves women's bible studies and thinks that the best way to people is to feed them good food.
Patrick McGowan is the Director of Student Ministry at Redeemer Church. He currently studies at the College of Biblical Studies, pursuing a degree in Biblical Counseling. Patrick has had a passion for student ministry and evangelism since his youth, and has experience with leading students in Cru's high school ministry. Patrick's vision is that every student has a radical faith that they can apply in their daily lives at home, in school, and in future aspirations. Patrick loves philosophy, Texas, MMA, Greek gyros, and aesthetic scenery.
Mary Lee Stagner is the Director of Communications, as well as the Connections Coordinator at Redeemer Church. She is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and also has a Master's degree from UHCL. She has lived in the Houston area for over 10 years and has a background in Human Resources and Recruiting. Mary Lee and her husband Eric have 3 young kids: Andy, Wyatt, and Millie. She loves Jesus, coffee, reading, and Aggie football.
Katherine Daniel serves as Communication Support to the Redeemer Campus. She graduated from TCU with a degree in English, and after a brief stint as a starving artist, went back to school to recieve her teaching certification. She taught high school Enlgish at international schools in Thailand and China before moving back to the States and marrying her husband, Jon. Together they have one daughter. Katherine is a published poet and an aspiring novelist, and enjoys all kinds of drawing, crafting, and creating.
Barb Albritton is the Director of Redeemer Methodist Children's Program. Barb graduated from Iowa State with a Bachelor's in Elem. Education and a minor in Child and Family Services. In 2006 she started student teaching at Aldine ISD, and stayed to serve as a 5th grade Science teacher, Technology Specialist, RTI Specialist, and Summer School Administrator. She later moved to Alvin ISD and taught 4th grade Math and Science. After two years as a stay-at-home mom, Barb returned to teaching at Pearland's Methodist Children's Program. She and her husband Mitch live in Friendswood with their kids Jack and Emma. Barb loves spending time with her family and friends, vacationing, and keeping up with her kids!
Julie Dahl is the Assistant Director of Redeemer Methodist Children's Program. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Early Childhood & Special Education. After getting married, Julie and her husband Justin moved to the Houston area, where she spent 7 years teaching in Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities and Inclusion in the public school system before staying home with her daughters, Aubrey and Lilah. The girls attended Pearland MCP, where Julie eventually started teaching in the 2- and 3-year-old classrooms. Now she is thrilled to share a love of learning at Redeemer MCP! Julie loves traveling, spending time at the beach, serving others, and crafting when she gets the chance!
